A car drove into a group of people at a Christmas market in the eastern German city of Magdeburg on Friday, German news agency dpa reported.

The driver of the car was arrested, the agency said, citing unidentified government officials in the state of Saxony-Anhalt.

After the attack on the Christmas market in Magdeburg, the police are now reporting four deaths and 41 seriously injured. According to BILD information, 86 people are being treated in hospitals with serious injuries. 78 people were slightly injured in the attack. x

And there were small children among the victims too, some of them dead.

The killer was a 50 year old Saudi Arabian doctor with a permanent residence permit. Things like this are exactly what the far right all over Europe is waiting for. Watch them spin this into sth like "Even educated, tax paying and seemingly well integrated immigrants are in fact dangerous terrorists!" 

Please don't fall for it, Germany. Don't let one single deranged person be fuel for even more systematic, instrumentalized hatred.

I'm so sorry for the people who got killed and for their families.

He's from Saudi Arabia who moved to Germany in 2006 and became an ex-Muslim, an atheist, a Zionist and a fan of Israel. People were quick to jump on Muslims when they found out that he's from Saudi Arabia and call for a Muslim ban but see how it turned out to be.

He was punishing Germany "for spreading Islam in Europe."

Some people shouldn't be allowed to enter European countries like this "doctor". People are preparing for Christmas, they want to spend a peaceful days and it ends up like this. I sympathize with loved ones whose loved ones died at site of attack and worst thing is brings trauma and unspent holiday

I repeatedly said on here (which a lot of people don't seem to quite understand) that Zionism is the main problem. You can be a Jew and not a Zionist/fan of Israel, just like many Jews in the US and around the world. You can be a Christian and be a Zionist. You can be anything and be a Zionist. It doesn't matter. Once you're brainwashed into Zionism, that's when the real issue happens.

There are atheists who live in Israel, which occupies Palestine, the land they claim was given to them by God. There was once an interview on YouTube where someone was doing street interviews with Israelis, one of them was an atheist who said: "well this is the promised land," and that was like a wtf moment. Idk if that video is available anymore but anyway.

On topic, the whole situation is sad. I feel like that even after the perpetuator's non-Muslim identity was revealed, anti-immigration policies will still be talked about.

Unfortunate for the millions of immigrants and Muslims living in peace in Germany and Europe.
