Never have I seen so many artists I have an interest in put out such middling work for the most part. Singles, they were fine. But albums? Whole nother kettle of fish. I believe only 3 I listened to were above average, everything else was barely average or just missed the mark as an entire body of work as a whole. In a year where it seemed like everyone was putting out an album for some weird reason, how was it this hard to find something properly decent?
