Honestly, let’s compare this to Born This Way. We get some really dark DARK pop songs throughout the tracklist, especially in the middle of the album with Scheibe, BM, HML, EC, etc., and then the album ends on a lighter note with some lovey-dovey, dreamier songs with The Queen, You and I, and The Edge of Glory. Y’all don’t sit there and complain about how that album is incoherent and a mess. Let Gaga be the most creative she has been in years AND a smart business woman. DWAS is becoming one of the most successful songs of all time right in front of our eyes. Any artist would add this to their record in some way. I still believe LG7 has the potential to be her best album ever, and this hasn’t changed that mindset one bit for me.

Yet it talks about death and is very dark. No one is here for this ASIB'ed track with Bruna, love her for giving gaga few streams but enough is enough, music is NOT the bling. :enigma:

The song literally talks about dying with the person you love at the end of the world ….

Beyonce takes a **** and her fans eat it up / GaGa mentions the inclusion of a successful 70’s ballad in an album described as genre bending chaos and people here are like SHES DONE THIS IS A MESS - despite everything we know about the album being unconfirmed assumptions save for two demos played in Paris …

Guys let’s remember first there was Perfect Illusion and then she switched to Million Reasons :awkney: it’s ok to include DWAS in the album

Honestly it’s good, because it’s going to end with being like ARTPOP with different genres except with darker tones. So we can expect another ballad to balance the differences between the songs. I’m here for her ballads, please something like Princess Die/ Dope/is that alright? 🖤🔥

I feel like a lot of people in here forgot she’s a mainstream artist, and they started to believe she was above these tactics. She’s never been, she has to sell records too and that doesn’t make her art any less valuable.

Drop it

4 days later and people still discussing about this? I was shocked a little bit at first, but I moved on :ororomunroe:

In fact, it's all positive things. I love the song and that would be the way to have it in a physical format :vegas:

I just read this word vomit interview again and I get the sense DWAS will probably be the last track of the album- possibly her solo or extended version.

I try to sell myself, but I am really laughing
Because I just love the music, not the bling
Music, not the bling

Now she's more practical and mature. Cope with it.

The whole BTW shares heavy production with them though. From the so-called dark pop to yours truly Yoü and I.

When I first came to GGD, the most I saw people talk about BTW was how it's had rock influence and heavy sound through and through. If that's the case, then I really don't see how Yoü and I is going to help the case at all, since sonically there's nothing share between Disease and DWAS.
