Donald Trump who certainly has no fond memories of Crystia Freeland from his last Presidency as she was Canadas Foreign Relations Minister and as such had to deal with her regularly during trade negotiations.

 

Shortly after her resignation he posted:

 

"The Great State of Canada is stunned as the Finance Minister resigns, or was fired, from her position by Governor Justin Trudeau," Trump posted on his site, Truth Social. 

"Her behavior was totally toxic, and not at all conducive to making deals which are good for the very unhappy citizens of Canada. She will not be missed!!!"

it used to be so good that 20 years ago a dual income couple on minimum wage (assuming fulltime hours) could do pretty ok. Maybe not confortable, but theyd be ok. The low income still pulled thru

 

Now its food banks, 6 room mates to make rent, surging homeless and ERs at the hospital so slow you die.

 

how we are still considered a wealthy developed nation is beyond me. We are a shadow of what we used to be and its infuriating as hell
