Filthy Pout

So I watched it the other day and it honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I feel like some small edits would of made a huge difference. Some of the musical scenes were way to long and I think Joaquins singing abilities were probably ruined from all the cigarettes he smoked in the first film:giggle:

And of course Gaga was way underutilized. I felt like her character was just there to give Joker a reason to continue on in life. But the ending of course would ruin it for most of the fans of Joker even with some fixes to the rest of the movie.

But I definitely think if people go into it with an open mind and some patience. They definitely wouldn't think it was one of the worse movies ever made like some made it seem.:smh:

I re-watched it yesterday and omg Gaga acts so good :bradley: I would have loved to see her making a mess on the streets and laughing like crazy. THEY WASTED HER !!

I really hope this bad reception doesn't stop her from acting

This movie was really the victim of a hate campaign. Most of the ones dissing it were admitting they didn't see it and didn't intend to.

Like all the wannabe bro bros were told to hate it cause it was a musical with Gaga AKA probably too feminine for them to get into so they stayed away from it but ranted endlessly to discourage everybody.

I can see this being part of it but on the otherhand I do not understand how they didnt see this coming

These tyoes of movies are heavily skewed towards young to middle aged men who notoriously do not care for, in fact hate musicals

Disney remakes or Whitcher type movies its fine to make it a musical. But something like Joker, that wasnt just taking a risk, that was self sabatoge
