Jack3257 668
Honestly I kinda think Justin may have had the correct strategy here. He released his singles in the months leading up to the halftime show, released the album on a Friday, and the the superbowl was two days later. He never would have had a number one album if it weren’t for a bunch of people looking up his music right after the show and it being the first thing that popped up. warhol killer 8,570
I think it was right timing releasing it in 2016. Talking about the Superbowl I don't think they were guaranteed the spot early on, so there was a chance before that she's not the performer. If anything, the only thing I would have changed with the album roll-out was the lead single. I don't think Perfect Illusion was the sound of the album, let alone be the perfect song to be the first sound we hear from the album. Diamond Heart imo would have been a better choice. Million Reasons, then John Wayne, then release Joanne [Piano Version] as the last. ...then probably release an EP around Coachella with The Cure on it and maybe +2 new songs lol warhol killer ✴ GAGA¹⁵
