And no I dont think being a pop star makes you basic, Gaga is a pop star and shes not basic.

Well she only collabs with artists she loves and actually connects real good with. That's why all of her collab songs ends up being HUGE (Telephone, ROM, DWAS, Shallow).

While other pop stars tank hard with very forced and underwhelming collabs Katy Perry on ALL of her collabs the last decade, Beyoncé / Miley, Madonna / Maluma, Madonna / Sam Smith and more more. You just can't create magic when there's no alchemy. I'm just leaving this here.

Lady Gaga is a HUGE K Pop fan, any of her fan know this since like BTW / ARTPOP times. It's not that massively surprising seeing her doing a K Pop collab one day

She hasn't recording in person with Elton and Beyoncé as well mainly because of timing and location issues. I'm sure whe would have loved doing those in the same studio.

Crayon Pop, an opening act for ARTRAVE, was a kpop group. Back in 2009, Gaga also wanted to work with ‘Teddy’ for her music, he is THE KPOP producer for BLACKPINK.
