Gracie Abrams fans left furious by the absurd ticket prices

Gracie Abrams  – who is the daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams and Katie McGrath - has left her fans with a sour taste in their mouths with her 'unjustifiable' ticket prices for the second US leg of her tour.

Shortly after Gracie announced her shows, her fans discovered in the pre-sale that two VIP tickets at Madison Square Garden would set them back an eye-watering $648.40.

Fans of the singer were furious by the 'absurd' ticket prices and expressed their outrage on social media.

Taking to Twitter, one slammed: 'There is not a single Gracie Abrams song worth paying $700 to hear live.'

Another vented: 'Gracie Abrams tickets for $700 is completely unjustifiable, that girl is not famous enough to be making her prices that high. I'm sorry Gracie ily but what.'

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an unauthentic pop star and rise to fame, it really does feel like she’s a taylor swift 2.0. Taylor’s aesthetic, lyric and song styles are all in there. It doesn’t help that her team is not hiding how much she’s pandering for TS fanbase’s attention and from a strategic perspective, that’s smart because TS fanbase is huge, you can get a whole fanbase for yourself just out of a small percentage of it 

the label could have made it less obvious but apparently that’s not a concern at all

If you listen to her music without knowing who she is, you’ll probably think that’s taylor with a slightly different voice but even the cadence sounds similar

Ngl an artist of her stature is never going to have any say over ticket prices. She ain't got the personal power to fight a label or promoter yet.

But also is it 648 for one or two? Because the source includes folks saying both. And like 650 for 2 VIP tickets for an arena show is pretty standard these days.
