Such a shame if they just move on from Disease because it’s one of the best things she has done in the last decade. It’s so weird to me how a lead single did this low but things happen and we never know why. Are they really going to release another single now in the middle of December?? It’s still two months away from album release. Sounds fishy.

Us oldies understand but when we say we want promo we mean live performances, interviews and stuff like this. Fortnite is a good promo tool probably but it's a "ghostly" kind of promo where the artist basically has nothing to do

I'm 100% sure Disease will have a boost from second single and album release and hopefully will be performed in medley stuff

But as a song as single I feel like it didn't really clicked with GP. Still a strong cult single imo. I could see it doing better in longevity than PI or SL in this fanbase

"Garden of the Gimp" is probably a song about love and her relationship but the snippet in "Disease" MV just doesn't seems to be about these themes.

It's defo a song that is the continuity of "Disease", it's from another Gaga's perspective.

To me the correct lyrics sounds like :

PlagueGa try to alienate ZombieGa to make her work and torture herself.

It could be a metaphor of how labels tried to change her artistic identity, make her work hard but gave her "the demon's eyes" by giving her the popstar status.

If this tweet is about Fortnite Festival anniversary, only Disease in confirmed to be new song for purchase.
I don't see them randomly put new Gaga song for not that popular game mode in Fortnite.
Espescially since that anniversary isn't focused on Gaga - it's about all artist that were added since Fortnite Festival released.

Unless that tweet is about something completely different - but im kinda up to date with any Fortnite info and leaks.

Yes! It is what it is. The fact that it performed like this doesn’t make it any less of a great song. The moment I listened to it for the first time I just knew this was for us fans of Heavy Metal Lover, Government Hooker, Scheiße etc. this is a song for the fans. Die With A Smile has been an amazing gift to us too and obviously more relatable to the general audience.
