The person of interest nabbed in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson is an anti-capitalist Ivy League grad who liked online quotes from “Unabomber’’ Ted Kaczynski — and apparently hated the medical community because of how it treated his sick relative.

Luigi Mangione, 26, of Towson, Md., has not been charged but was taken into custody Monday morning at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pa., after an intense manhunt following the coldblooded execution of Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel last week, sources said.

The former prep-school valedictorian was caught with a gun, silencer, four fake IDs with names used during the killer’s stint in New York City — and a manifesto, sources said.

The manifesto railed against the US healthcare industry, including over its enormous profits and alleged shady motives, sources said.

Find it hard to believe this guy could carry off a 'perfect' execution in NYC then end up getting caught days later in the same clothes, with the same weapon etc because he wanted a McRib...

I'd put my money on they 'found their guy' even tho they didn't find their guy. This poor dude will go down for it regardless of whether he was involved just so NYPD can send a message

With how attractive and how morally justified he is, watch the jury flat out refuse to convict him :staymad:

His Twitter account, his traces, everything about what we know of him till now seems carefully curated. He’s definitely very smart.

The only thing that stands out from the Twitter (and his goodreads page :dead: ) is that it sounds like he has a long term spine/back injury

I stand by it– they're framing the wrong guy
