The public thinking Lady Gaga is the problem is wild. It's almost universally recognized by critics that Lady Gaga's main problem was being underused, and had she appeared more the movie could've been better off that alone.

JFAD wasn’t what was expected or wanted from everyone butttt I truly think the hate campaign was overblown. It became a trend for people to just bash it, and I guarantee many of those people didn’t even see the film, they just hopped on the hate train.  I went into the film with my expectations on the floor after all of the initial reactions, and left confused because my friends and I really enjoyed it.

This sort of follower behavior is very popular nowadays. People do not think their own thoughts they just parrot what they heard from others. And then the hate train just builds and grows. Same thing happened to Katy earlier this year.
