llemesm 987
We see Britney spinning alone in her livingroom every day and we are concerning about Gwen Stefani doing a paid partnership about a app for christian people? --- I don't see any problem about it. The belief in fairytales, magic, and superstitions is directly in opposition of science which uses observation, inference, and experimentation to find factual answers and solutions. And that very much is objective 'cause faith and science mix as well as water and oil I was raised in a very religious home and every goddamn question I had was answered the same way: "GoD's WiLl". The whole reason I threw off the shackles of religion is 'cause I was such a curious kid but every time my gaze wandered to the stars they'd push my nose back into the f*cking Bible. Even now, I'll take in a pretty sunset and I know it's created by the refraction of light around the Earth causing a red shifting within the atmosphere in the usually white light out star puts out...but I still hear my grandma's voice saying "isn't God's creation wonderful?" Like I don't get how people can find peace in the idea that there's some cosmically unknowable THING controlling reality. It's disturbing and cheapens existence to the point that life isn't even worth living like that. And don't get me started on how weaponized religion is like Gwen's app here, taking advantage of delusional theists/creationists to make a buck. It's disgusting. The alt-right appealing to the inherent paranoia within religious people to ruin all of our lives...just gross. The world would be a better place without religion and that's a cold hard fact I won't debate this 'cause I will offend people even further I agree. I can’t believe we normalize and encourage ppl to believe in this kind of stuff that when someone with a mental illness starts talking about we’d call them crazy or schizophrenic but as long as it’s an 1000+ year belief that was created when people didn’t know ANYTHING about anything than it’s ok saying things like “join me and the millions of Christians as we celebrate THE TRUTH that god loved the world so much , he gave us his only son” wtf sounds like delusional out of touch with reality toxic etc Edited December 7 by Controversiaga Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . If people wanna be religious that's their business, as long as I'm not effected I don't care The most annoying thing about that post was saying you can be a scientist AND religious as if faith and fact aren't 100% opposed to one another Faith is literally believing something with zero evidence. That's not science by any definition even sh*t we don't have direct evidence for we make educated guesses and work with those assumptions until something else makes more sense. Science is fact based and fluid. Always changing with new understanding and discoveries. Faith is based on nothing and completely rigid. In most cases it's not even to be questioned. So that irked me And it's irked me again, thank you for bringing me back to this thread Also, Gwen's "tRuTh" despite Christianity being relatively new as far as religions go sis really was taught from a 1900 year old book full of edits, mistranslations, and contradictions and decided "yup, that's the truth" Let me leave, I have pasta getting cold
SlowLoris 958
I honestly had no clue Gwen was that religious. Usually when stars say they're christian or whatever, they keep very quiet about it. But Gwen? She's a god warrior!
Super 927
Nothing concerning to see here, except for some comments.
Roughhouse Dandy 8,614
If this was a free app I'd be lighting y'all up about some of these critiques, but charging anything for something overtly Christian is inherently a grift. I'm not gonna egg on harassment of an overall harmless public figure, but I will sit here and giggle at the funny shade. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
Jester 6,280
OP what's wrong with you? Your thread title is what's really concerning.
