Johnny Depp is not ruled out for next Pirates of the Caribbean

Sources say Disney has not engaged with Johnny Depp about another "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie, but one of the scripts in development could bring Depp back if he and Disney can reconcile.

“Nothing has been ruled out,” says one knowledgeable source.

Do we really need another Pirates of the Caribbean movie? Isn’t five movies enough?

No. It’s not enough. We need more Jack Sparrow. Give us an origin story, and who better to play young Jack than Shawn Mendes?

And what about Will and Elizabeth? Did they just sail off into the sunset forever? We demand answers… and a spin-off movie.

There are so many fascinating characters we’ve barely touched. Honestly, Disney could make a TV series for any of them. Even the monkey. Jack the Monkey deserves his time to shine.
