monketsharona 89,968
Sources say Disney has not engaged with Johnny Depp about another "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie, but one of the scripts in development could bring Depp back if he and Disney can reconcile. “Nothing has been ruled out,” says one knowledgeable source. https://x.com/Variety/status/1864362453368238503?t=zRQGZMYY--iMjom2LT2cNA&s=

pachinko 10,733
There is only one Jack Sparrow and that is Johnny Depp. They need him.
4th Time Around 5,030
Like it or not, Pirates is nothing without Depp playing Jack Sparrow and everyone understands that. Here is your throat back, thanks for the loan
27monster27 15,761
He can stay out of acting. I'm gonna get dragged, but whatever: he/him/his
The Fame Monster 4,552
Do we really need another Pirates of the Caribbean movie? Isn’t five movies enough? No. It’s not enough. We need more Jack Sparrow. Give us an origin story, and who better to play young Jack than Shawn Mendes? And what about Will and Elizabeth? Did they just sail off into the sunset forever? We demand answers… and a spin-off movie. There are so many fascinating characters we’ve barely touched. Honestly, Disney could make a TV series for any of them. Even the monkey. Jack the Monkey deserves his time to shine. Disney+, you know what to do. Find your freedom in the music
Super 1,205
Having followed the trial I think the reaction to both is so asymmetrical. The biggest concern should be if another film is really necessary if I’m honest
HayThurJack 373
I watched the entire trial, not sure how anyone has animus towards him (and yes I’ve seen the pro-Amber stuff)
