This! And I blame Cynthia… she doesnt give me real Elphie vibes. Something feels off. Her tone. The look. And dont come for me saying a woman of colour playing Elphaba makes it hit harder. I dont agree. She is green ffs. But something just does not resonate with me like for example Idina Menzel, Willemijn Verkaik (best Elphie imo), Kerry Ellis, Rachel Tucker and many others did. 

And the slower version doesnt help for this song. Just as cutting the “Elphie, you look beautiful” part in Popular
