Dwayne has probably never been to a regular movie theaters in years and only goes with friends to private showings.

Still mad about the older ladies chatting throughout A Star is Born at the showing I went to :ally:

I disagree. The people around you have also paid their hard earned money as well. I'm there to listen to the performers on the screen, not some cheap bar karaoke behind me. That's why they have sing a long showings.

There are usually singalong screenings for a reason. If you want to sing, go to one of those

In a concert movie like the ones Taylor and Beyoncé screened recently, ok, fine. But in a musical... Dude, stfu and enjoy (and let others enjoy) the show

Oh, the superhuman effort I had to do to not sing along to Defying Gravity

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

The thing about this that I don't get is like... you'd be attempting to sing along to Cynthia Erivo. Why are you choosing to sound (most likely) significantly worse in comparison? You're not in your car or in the shower where the acoustics are in your favor. You're in a whole ass theatre where people don't want you to do that, and you're STILL fighting the urge?

Sis I tend to sing along to every song I know the lyrics to, even the ones I dislike :brat:  But I’m not an irrational animal, I can control my urges :ladyhaha:

Idiot. Imagine buying a ticket to see wicked on broadway and you try singing along. You’ll be escorted out immediately. Same should apply in a movie theatre.

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”
