More stressed than excited about the BTW Ball.... :(

So i have never done GA at a concert before.....but for the BTW Ball i finally decided to go for a general admission ticket, since its the only way to get extremely close to Gaga for a reasonable price. But honestly from the moment i bought my ticket, i've been nothing but STRESSED.

First was all that will call only crap...where i was worried about how i was gonna pick up my ticket the day of the show if i was gonna be in line for the pit all day. And how they were saying that tickets couldn't be picked up until an hour before they show.... :wtf: I finally managed to pick up my ticket at the arena last month.....after only 3 months of stressing about it. :fat:

But then after that, this whole wristband system for the pit was introduced. And now instead of having to wait there all day....its turned to having to wait there all NIGHT. And we've got insane people with no lives apparently.....camping for like DAYS ahead of time and holding spots for their friends. And there's all these fan made rules as well as rules made by security like the 8am rule....and nobody knows what's going on for sure...

This whole thing is just making me so stressed and unhappy.....to the point where i'm not even looking forward to the concert that much. I remember being so excited about the Monster Balls i went to where i had seats..... :( I probably won't be relieved and excited until i'm in the pit waiting for Gaga to get onstage. And even THEN i might be stressed and worried. I'm worried about not being able to see since i'm extremely short. And also i'm worried about having to go to the bathroom when i'm waiting in the middle of the night for a wristband or in the pit!!! WHAT DO I DO?!?

This whole thing is just making me sad and depressed.......

If you're really worried to go to the bathroom then just buy an adult diaper...

There is alot of stress and risk in going for GA, but there is also a lot of reward. Whether your in the pit or outside the show will be amazing! But 'camp' for only as long as you are comfortable to do so, because once you are in there you forget about how many rows away you are, you just have fun :)

Just relax and enjoy the experience :) I'm sure you'll find nice people who will hold your spot in line for you, and you don't really have to camp out - just arrive around 8am and I'm sure you'll get a MP wristband

You'll be glad you got GA. I had second thoughts too because I've never been to a concert before, but it was WELL WORTH IT. We had such an amazing time in the pit. :flutter:

Omg noooooooo. There's people camped out ALREADY for the Chicago show on Wednesday...... :wtf:

I'm gonna go at around midnight. I don't wanna take any chances of not getting in the pit....

People with no lives... well, that's not very nice considering I was one of those people. Please choose your words wisely.

Secondly, it's not really that big of a deal. Get there the night before, you'll get your wrist band and you'll get to sleep and get ready for the show and be there before 4 PM to go in. No use in stressing over it.

Hmm...how early are you going? I heard some say they went in the afternoon of the show and was able to get in the pit? Also, you seem very friendly, so you may meet some cool people in line who would hold your place for you?

If you have the money, you can still buy a seat ticket. It seems that there are seat tickets available in all remaining dates?

Most fans there will be nice and they'll respect your spot in line, so just go and talk with the people around you. You'll find other people with common interests and you can ask them about your worries and questions. I'm sure they'll hold your spot for you if you need so. Just remember that all the people is there for the same reason as you: to see Gaga :) Don't let your worries affect the experience.

Don't be stressed

I know EXACTLY how you feel.

I went to the Kansas City, MO BTWB,

And I worried and worried, but it turned out pretty easy for me, and It will for you to.

If I were you, I would go at about 5AM or even later the day of. I thought it would be A MESS, but it wasn't. I got number 180, which is pretty damn good for 7 in the morning. When you first get to the venue, you look around for a long line, and when i went to the back, somebody gave me a sharpie and said "Your number akjfjaksdkf" Or you can look at the person in front of you and just write the number after that.

It was really fun, and I recommend talking to other monsters. There wasn't one rude, mean, or jerky monster there. We all just stood in line for about an hour and a half, talking about ARTPOP, etc. The time really flies. Then they take you across the street and give you a wristband, and Its actually easy as cake. They give you a number, its usually within 10 of your unofficial number. And when you come back at 5 or 4 (They will tell you don't worry, they repeated it probaby 20 times at my ball) You go into the pit, and you can go wherever you want. Drink PLENTY of water after you get your official band in the morning, and then pee or whatever before you go back to the venue. They do a good job of explaining what will happen after this and that in the pit, an the staff were really friendly if I had questions. It was so much fun, don't worry. I thought I would have to have a certain place in the pit, but you didn't. People are so nice in the MP. And there is always an opening throughout the show on the left side of the pit. Just make sure you keep your green wristband on (they give it to you when you arrive back at 5 PM) DO NOT take off your first wristband, they will not let you into the pit. You do not have to take tickets in the morning, just at 5 or 4. And for me, there was PLENTY of room in the pit to move around and follow gaga. I recommend being in the center rear of the pit against the barrier thing. She always picks people from right there. Don't worry bud!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Thank u for the advice! :)

I was originally planning on going at 5am.....but i'm sure for the Chicago show its gonna be hard to get into the pit... 5am is not gonna cut it...

So you are allowed to leave the pit if you need to use the bathroom?! They will let u back in?? Can u make it back to your spot??

Seriously, go early. I've met some amazing friends in lines. Like we made friends in the pit line this week! everyone tends to look out for each other in the lines, too. I don't regret camping at all.
