LADY GAGA – COACHELLA 2025 (Screenplay)

Title: Mayhem at the Desert

•ACT I: Arrival (Electric Rebirth)

Intro . Marry the Night

Dark stage. Lights flicker.

A phoenix silhouette rises from the stage. The sound of crackling fire fills the air.

Lady Gaga emerges in fiery, ethereal glam. The audience feels her power as she owns the desert.

Dramatic, thunderous music builds into the first chords of Marry the Night.

She dances—fiercely, with a spirit of defiance.

1.Judas

A neon chapel rises on stage.

Motorcycle dancers circle Gaga in dark leather and priest collars.

Gaga stands at an altar with flaming candles.

The audience feels her internal battle, torn between worship and rebellion.

The dark sound of Judas blasts. Electric whips crack, the dancers perform a furious, twisting choreography.

2. Poker Face

Robotic dancers in metallic chrome emerge, slashing lasers across the stage.

The music shifts, and Gaga is elevated in a sleek chair as cold, futuristic lasers paint the scene.

Dynamic choreography brings the crowd to its feet. Poker faces are on.

3. Killah (Mayhem)

Blood-red lighting takes over.

Industrial beats drop into a thunderous rhythm, the music reverberates like a pulse in the desert.

Gaga, with a grin, struts across the stage, a snarling force of energy.

•ACT II: The Fame Decays

4. How Bad Do You Want Me

The stage is girly yet dark, with a distorted, seductive atmosphere. The air is filled with an electric hum.

Gaga sings to the audience, taunting and questioning their desire, as the stage lights flicker between soft pinks and harsh blues.

The choreography is dark, seductive, yet playful.

5. Dance in the Dark

Violet fog surrounds the stage, and shadows twist into forms.

Gaga dances in silhouette, the crowd in awe as the haunting music grows louder.

It’s a mysterious, pulsing performance, her heart and soul laid bare.

6. Perfect Celebrity (Mayhem)

Pop art visuals explode onto the screen, creating a mock red carpet.

Cameras flash. Gaga plays with fame, ripping into it.

Sardonic, satirical, the performance mocks the artificial nature of fame.

7. Disease (Mayhem)

Gaga kneels to the floor as a church bell tolls.

Her choreography grows intense and feverish. There’s an undeniable sense of desperation, her body writhing with physical and emotional intensity.

The Lady in Red—the mayhem lady—appears for the first time from windows high above the stage, watching over the chaos below.

•ACT III: Collapse (The Heart Exposed)

8. Shallow

The stage goes black except for a single spotlight on Gaga.

She sits at a piano, and for a moment, it’s just her.

The song is soft, raw. The audience feels her vulnerability, her voice cracking with emotion.

9. Vanish Into You (Mayhem)

Stars projected overhead. A sandstorm begins to swirl around the stage.

The emotional peak of the night. Gaga begins to cry, and the audience joins her in the depths of emotion.

The visuals are intimate, desolate, but stunning—each note cuts deep.

10. Always Remember Us This Way

Old film reels flicker on the screen. The stage feels nostalgic, like an old-time movie theater.

Gaga sings with passion, dedicating it to "the dreamers who lost their light."

The sound of love and loss reverberates through the crowd.

11. Blade of Grass (Mayhem)

Gaga appears in a gown of translucent petals.

The visuals are hauntingly fragile. Each petal dissolves in the wind.

The performance expresses haunting love, the pain of fleeting moments, a metaphor for the fragility of life.

•ACT IV: Resurrection (Witch Hour)

12. Abracadabra (Mayhem)

Witchy visuals transform the desert into a gothic, velvet landscape.

Gaga’s costume transforms into something both magical and vengeful. The Lady in Red comes again, full force.

This is her rebirth—the music pulsates with dark magic.

13. Zombie Boy Tribute

Zombie Boy dancers emerge, moving like thriller-esque corpses.

Gaga performs with thriller-style choreography, paying tribute to Rick Genest.

She wears skeletal couture as a massive fan blows her hair back, creating a sense of eerie wind.

14. Shadow of a Man (Mayhem)

Gaga’s silhouette dances with a projection of her own image.

Michael Jackson references flash subtly. She wears the iconic glove and moonwalks across the stage.

It’s a moment of introspection, confronting her ego and myth.

15. Bloody Mary

A full moon rises on stage.

The music is dark, mystical, and gothic. She levitates as she dons her gothic queen attire.

Magic pulses from her as the desert becomes a midnight cathedral, a holy, mystical space.

•ACT V: Ecstasy (Glory Pop)

16. Sour Candy

The visuals are hyper-pop: glossy, edgy, fast.

Gaga dances with K-pop-inspired moves. BLACKPINK video footage appears on a giant video wall.

The crowd is electrified as Gaga embraces her pop-star power.

17. Applause

Venetian masks appear on the dancers. Classical statues come to life.

The return of ARTPOP. The stage is an art piece, full of theatrics and surrealism.

Gaga invites the crowd to bask in her art, applauding the madness and beauty.

18. Garden of Eden (Mayhem)

The visuals are lush, psychedelic, and colorful—flowers bloom and burn.

Temptation fills the air. Gaga offers paradise, only to rip it away.

The imagery is stunning and heartbreaking.

19. Die With A Smile (Mayhem)

The stage explodes with fireworks. Dancers twirl massive red ribbons.

Gaga performs with a sense of triumph, yet the performance is tragic, enveloping us in glitter and emotions.

Bruno Mars appears on a video wall for a romantic duet, enhancing the mood of sweet sorrow.

20. LoveDrug/The Beast (Mayhem)

Ethereal 80s air and night visuals combine. The stage is filled with neon purples, blues, and a sense of seduction.

Gaga blends LoveDrug with The Beast, sensual, slow beats intertwined with her voice echoing the thrill and danger of the night.

There are references to "Monster" within the performance, with dark, seductive imagery.

•Encore: Legend Mode

21. Born This Way

Rainbow lights flood the stage as the audience sings along.

Graphics of pride and identity flash on every screen. Gaga’s power is shared by all.

This moment is an anthem for the underrepresented, the marginalized. Everyone is seen, everyone belongs.

22. Bad Romance

The lights go out.

A heartbeat sound echoes.

“Rah rah ah ah ah…” reverberates as the desert erupts into chaos.

Gaga returns to her Monster persona, the stage now resembling the white bathrooms from the original music video—iconic, surreal, and ultimately full circle.

Lowkey hope no guests tbh.

I also feel BLOODY MARY will be the opener since she referenced it in her Coachella post 📫

Is it illegal to come to an agreement that one of us will record the livestream in HQ and share the link later on who couldn't stay awake till late? 2AM EST is a bit of challenge!
