With British pop star Charli XCX pulling double-duty as host and musical guest this past week, SNL drew 4,286,000 total viewers to NBC, according to Nielsen live-plus-same-day data for November 16, 2024. That’s the show’s smallest live-plus-same-day audience season to-date, and its smallest since the May 18, 2024 episode (4,206,000 viewers). source

Regardless of the audience numbers, I think she did a great job. She had some fun skits and performances. I especially love that she chose to perform SIAK over other (potentially obvious?) song choices.

“Least viewed episode since the one six months ago” before that, their least viewed episode was the one with Owen Wilson only about a year ago. Honestly at this point, saying an episode is the least viewed one doesn’t really matter anymore-I’m willing to bet they’ll have a new “least viewed” episode by the end of this season…

The SIAK performance was good! I kinda hated the 360 performance though, it was so bare-minimum that the end result was just awkward 

No comment on the skits, but I feel like I'm never the target demographic for those anyway

The Brat gays are not interested in watching a whole SNL episode when we can just catch up on the performance on YouTube. 

Jokes aside this was just after the elections so people were either disappointed, busy watching news etc. or just stayed away from TV and social media.

I personally feel that the SIAK performance outshined the 360 one, so I totally get where you're coming from.

Also, I think some of their skits are genuinely funny while others are more okay-ish. I think Charli had like three and a half skits where I genuinely laughed or chuckled.
