Gurl sure I agree she needs to take a break but first we need reputation and self titled TV. Would be odd for her to take a long break and for those projects to be delayed when the rest of her discography has converted into TV. Beats me why anyone would think she would take a break before the last 2 rerecordings are out. I think 2026 onwards is when she’ll take a longish break.

Rihanna released an album pretty much every year between 2005 and 2012. Bowie released albums almost non-stop in the 70s. Some artists are prolific, and they shouldn't have to stop releasing music just because you aren't a fan.

But like, do we not have to listen to it? I've heard both Karma and Anti-Hero 100 times, but have never played it. It gets played at stores and on the radio constantly. On top of that, algorithms on social media won't explicitly let me blacklist her as a topic, so I'm also seeing and hearing about her constantly there. As well as on here. Taylor for the last 2 years has been what Trump's presidency was 2016-2020. Inescapable, in the worst way. Every day it's something different but somehow still the same, and it's **** you wish you didn't know anything about.

I am a huge Taylor fan, and I'm hoping for the last TV's to come out now, and then have a break for a year or two.

Man, stuff I don't like gets played on the radio all of the time. Do you know what I do? Turn it off or put up with it.

There were people who felt the same way when Gaga was at her commercial peak. I felt the same way during the mumble rap wave. But I'm not going to say that mumble rappers should stop releasing music or compare them to Trump, because other people clearly like it.
