Not really an unpopular belief based on what I have heard other people say. The biopic formula is stale and predictable. Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman were not very good. I heard there's a Bob Dylan biopic coming out soon, he is one of my favorite artists but i'm sure it will be as boring as the others.

Honestly the issue with Biopics is they can never really give enough of the interesting part - the juicy gossip & the funny stories. 

Everyone knows a celebrity's career path especially everything after they make it big.

I love biographies and reading in general. Feels like a dying form of entertainment in our current online world. Nobody I know reads at all and I find that really sad. Just finished a fascinating autobiography of human rights activist Malcom X who was cut down far too young.

A TV series would be epic and let's be honest here, Madonna isn't going to censor herself with this biopic. Self aggrandisement, sure. But I do believe she will lay everything on the table.

It's weird that it's only now after 4 years of work that she's being stopped from telling all that she wants to tell because of lenght issues...

You generally get the format issue/ global plot points early on then closer to the details.
