Oh I thought you were specifically talking about the people in the video, not all Trump voters :laughga: Well I sure hope there aren't 74M nazis in the USA lol. It's very clear a lot of people who voted Trump were totally uneducated and didn't do any research.

Oh no, f*ck those guys :sharon:

I'm so tired of all the hate in this world. I just want to live peacefully. Why don't they understand that LOVE is the answer.

The concept... the message of SL hits different now

Its not shocking that 10 people are Nazis. They never had the power to make people join, remember how the Charlottesville march failed? Even people who used to be part of that group are not anymore.

It is not against the law to be a racist in America, but it is against the law to call for violence, so it depends on what they are chanting.

I hope you're right they don't have power to make people join, and I agree it's not shocking they exist but the fact they're marching with megaphone is bit shocking to me

It is for sure alarming and scary, but I like to calm myself down and actually look at the reality of the situation.

These groups usually gain power and influence when a country is almost collapsing, but I dont think Nazis can are capable of gaining power through their messaging, they can only gain power when the country and its people are too vulnerable.

They eventually self destruct because they are unhinged, and most people dont want to be outcasted by society, or live in complete hatred for a long time.

it looks like less than 10 people. I wouldn't be too worried.

This is in my neighborhood. I guess my question would be, at what point should you get worried? Maybe when you're alone, walking home late at night and a group starts coming towards you? Bottom line, this has never happened here and people are starting to feel safe in unleashing their hate. Trump will be in the white house in a few months and these types of people feel strength in that. Trump is basically one of them. So yeah, I think it is something to be worried about. This is only the beginning of a very long journey of HATE.

How is it not against the law to be racist in the US that's wild to me. The UK has hate speech laws you can be arrested for saying the N word. The USA literally baffles me.

Did no one try to shout back or do something worse? People need to start pushing back.

Exactly this. When racist terrorists were committing acts of terrorism in the UK earlier this year, they got instantly arrested. When Bolsonaro supporters stormed Brazilian government buildings, they got instantly arrested.

Charlottesville and January 6th? Arrests took months/years, and in some cases never even happened.

Yeah they were arrested and imprisoned within weeks. Absolutely bizarre, and they wonder why the country is so messed up?

unfortunately this isn’t abnormal for ohio :saladga: i see at least ten separate MASSIVE trump/confederate flag signs on the daily. so many folks here have genuine shrines dedicated to bigotry in their yards… neo-nazis parading around columbus does not surprise me at all atp. have seen so many swastika stickers plastered on poles lately as well … won’t be surprised if the “proud boys” start showing up in our major cities again. disappointing.

I'm sorry but this is crazy, is this not against the law or something?

Perhaps I am just an absolutist when it comes to the issue of free speech but as a progressive, that sentiment is disturbingly authoritarian to me and could be applied in horrible ways to other groups of people if someone wanted to go after them. Racism is obviously terrible but arresting 10 clowns for waving a flag around is not true spirit of liberalism and it sets a very dangerous precedent that you can go after someone for saying something or thinking a certain way. These people are not engaging in violence and nobody ever said it was a crime to be racist in this country.

As Voltaire said "I do not agree with what you have to say. But i'll defend to the death your right to say it"

Here is your throat back, thanks for the loan
