the era barely started, have a bit more patience  we can't expect crazy promo when the holidays are rapidly approaching, this TikTok promo is genius considering the circumstances and we are already seeing a positive effect on the streaming numbers, plus, this proves she can evolve with times and its good promo to connect with younger audiences.

And with DWAS still smashing, possibly the biggest song of 2024, overexposure can be an issue, especially with the bad reception from joker 2.

Idk, I trust her vision for the rollout and really think we'll start getting real promo after the holidays, getting the interviews, the live performances and everything that we expect from her, I just think we need to have a bit more patience

And disease is increasing in streaming numbers, check on the charts thread  so the promo is kind of working, her first promo tik tok has 10M views and the tiktok from yesterday has over 2M already, this might not be what some were expecting but we can't deny it's effective promo.

Single promo is TikToks and paid for playlist promotion. Mixed in are episodes of Hot Ones & Chicken Shop dates. 

Be greatful we got a music video as that isn't even guaranteed these days. 

The days of massive video budgets, and multiple public performances are dead and ain't no record company prepared to spend the money to bring them back.

Sorry but out of all the artists that I follow, which are mainly a lot smaller acts, Gaga has been doing the least promo in the last 5 years in regards of interviews and televised preformances (of her own pop records to be specific) or even prerecorded  vevo like preformances.

But to humour that idea, by that logic why did they fund the Happy mistake preformance and Harliquin hidden show? Or why bother doing a press dump for Joker if they could have posted tiktoks since its the only thibg people watch? :p this is an open conversation, but "nobody doing interviews and live preformances anymore" while everyone is doing them is just not the answer to a bad promo strategy which led to the numerical flop of her best first single since Applause. I guess they can't afford physicals either to help the poor song out on the charts, or are physicals a thing of the prehistoric era along with interviews? :p
