Katy Perry: Night of a Lifetime will be filmed in December in Central Hall Westminster in London.

The 90-minute event promises to be a star-studded affair, with celebrity guests joining Katy onstage and an A-list audience filling the iconic Central Hall Westminster. The exclusive event will feature unforgettable performances of many of Katy’s legendary hits including ‘Firework’, ‘Roar’ and ‘I Kissed a Girl’ as well as special renditions from her latest album, 143 – a first for ITV audiences. Viewers can also expect an array of exciting surprises throughout the night making this a truly unmissable event.

Katy Perry says: “I am so chuffed to transform Central Hall Westminster for this very cool and cozy evening for my UK fans. I can’t wait to be back in London, one of my favourite places in the world, for this up close and personal dance party of a LIFETIME.” 

Katy Perry: Night of a Lifetime will go out later in the month on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.

These latest promotional spots scream desperate to me :laughga: Like yes it’s good for her to promote but the whole “she is loved by all” and using 14 year old songs to promote all her appearances?! :deadbanana:

The way this is being sold like a classical music performance watched by a group of esteemed music critics is quite something when you know she's going to be singing generic pop songs. Obviously, she's doing this, along with the Capital FM Ball in the lead-up to doing UK dates but I don't see what an exclusive event watched by a group of celebrities is going to do do, even if it is televised. The album flopped disastrously here, Woman's World was the only single that charted, her last top 10 was Chained To The Rhythm and her last #1 was Roar. Her UK arena dates for Witness couldn't sell out either. So much is being spent to make her be successful and it's just not going to work.
