If I’m not mistaken to make any amendments to the constitution you need a 60% vote in favour of in congress, there isn’t a chance in hell he’d pass that. innerl 22 Posted November 13, 2024 Share Posted November 13, 2024 A constitutional amendement requires much more than 60% of congress approval. An amendment to constitution can be proposed by a 2/3 vote of each of the Senate and the House, or 2/3 of the state legislatures/conventions. It then must be approved by 3/4 of the state legislatures/state conventions. So there is 0% chance of any amendement that favors one party over the other (or Trump in this case) ever getting approved/passed in the current enviornment.
