I love this album. American Requiem, 16 Carrieges, Bodyguard, Daughter , Spaghetti , Tyrant and Sweet Honey Buckin are one of the most interesting songs in her discography

It must be a consolation prize because of the outrage over Renaissance (and other Beyonce albums) losing AOTY. There's no other way that it'd make sense for Cowboy Carter to have a record-breaking number of nominations

Her audience does not like country music, so it only makes sense. It's her version of releasing jazz songs.
