Mattel’s Wicked Dolls Mistakenly List Adult Film Website on Packaging

The packaging for Mattel’s Wicked dolls mistakenly lists the URL of an adult entertainment site instead of the official domain for the film.

Wicked, the new theatrical adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, is set to open in theaters worldwide on November 22nd. However, merchandise for the film, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo as the witches Glinda and Elphaba, is already on sale, and some fans have spotted a major error on the packaging for Mattel’s dolls for the film.

The back of the Mattel dolls’ packaging lists the website wicked.com. The issue? That domain belongs to an adult entertainment site, not the film’s official website, which is actually wickedmovie.com.

There are about 50 Wicked movie tie ins with different brands. I really want the cupcake mix that is either green or pink.

Spideypool one is misleading cuz traditionally it's about Spiderman/Deadpool ship - that one isn't

It always astounds me that these people don't even take 5 seconds to double check something like this before sending it out for mass worldwide production. Like.. do they have absolutely no anxiety at all in their bodies? My anxiety would be having me type the URL into my phone and my computer and googling it and then double checking it five times before sending away the final edit to be produced 

And even then I'd be panicking I'd done something wrong just because of the global scale of a toy like this
