I remember being in the equivalent of this thread in 2020 and the immense sigh of relief and happiness we all shared when Biden won. all the anticipatory anxiety faded. Well… no release this time it seems

It’s honestly pretty much over. She’d need to win Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Nevada. Reps are leading PA by 3 and 95% of votes are count, leading Wisconsin by 4 at 90 count. Arizona is in reach for Dems, Nevada could be okay as fine, Reps leading by 4 at 73% count.

The truth doesn't matter anymore. I hate to be alarmist and understand this is coming from anger - but US democracy is a sham. 

I'm sure Trump and his cronies will only damage US democracy further but the reality is that half of the country lives in a different universe. One where Trump was found guilty of SA by a unanimous verdict due to a witch hunt, where January 6 was a peaceful protest, where  Democrats stole the 2020 election.

Half the country is being fed such extreme propoganda they may as well live in Russia with state controlled media.

Exactly. Saw a couple of statistics about immigrants voting for that man… how on earth do you vote for him, when he openly expressed he wana deport all of them????? My head can’t process that. How?????
