I don't buy this. How do you "not know Kamala" while living in the US? Unless you are living under a rock or don't have an internet connection/TV?

This is terrifying for those of us in the US, and the explanation for her potential loss is extremely straightforward:

1. Biden is so unpopular that he had to be swapped out for a new candidate. When Kamala was announced, she surged and it looked like a lock because she was ANYONE but Biden. She then spent the next several months running the most right-wing campaign that any Democrat has run in decades, campaigned with a bunch of Republicans and literally said that she "couldn't think of anything" she wouldn't have done differently than Biden. She made it a referendum on Biden anyway, just with a different name at the top of the ticket, by essentially quelling any excitement that she might be better than he was.

2. She and Biden prioritized the genocide of Palestinians over their own reelection. She sent Republicans, war criminals who destroyed Arab-majority countries and Democrats that essentially scolded Arab voters for being angry about their families being killed to states that she absolutely needed to win and hemorrhaged Arab voters to an extent that is virtually unprecedented in the history of the country. She lost districts that Biden won in 2020 with 88% of the vote.

3. She employed virtually the same exact campaign strategy that Clinton ran in 2016 and begged Republicans (that were never going to be swayed) to vote for her while ignoring her base. Republicans already have a party and pandering them just alienates your own voters. This is common sense.

This should've been the biggest layup election ever and they completely botched it. I don't even know what to say about that kind of incompetence and the gaul you have to have to prioritize genocide (horrific and evil on its own) and push right-wing policy and subsequently risk this kind of disastrous outcome.
