well it could be worse! i feel like dwas being released so soon overshadowed it. it still made the top 40 and if everything else goes to ****, she can always just slap dwas on the album to boost sales

Wow.  This is 9 spots lower than the #18 prediction.

Maybe DWAS played a role? I know Disease was last minute with not too much warning, but maybe DWAS took over? I mean people focused on the Las Vegas performance more than the music video release.

Meh, not really (re: DWAS Live vid). That vid is only ever so slightly outpacing Disease (just about 500k view difference).

Funny how irrelevant these charts are. Disease is still a top 3 lead single by LG. Stupid Love was like in the top 10 if I'm not mistaken but it remains her worst lead by a mile.

Just enjoy the music, guys. Disease is an amazing song. We've been wanting that crazy dark anthemic Gaga DNA in a song for so long, we finally have it and that's all that matters.

Yeah this is pretty underwhelming overall, but not totally surprised.

The good news, she delivered a bop and the album will likely follow-suit. She will likely drop a pop smash a la Rain On Me for the charts soon. This single is likely for the ~vibes~

didn't stupid love debut at no.5? 

if they dropped the song, music video and physicals on release day it would have charted higher but maybe they're choosing a different strategy? although I think it's a high risk they're taking. It should have smashed into the top 10 at least.

The GP is eating up her ballads tbh... Million Reasons, Shallow, ARUTW, INLA, Hold My Hand (which has 300M+ views on Youtube honestly its a LOT nowadays), DWAS... If she wants chart success she'll just go and release a ballad album and collect hit after hit tbh

2) Like I said in another thread, songs like MTN and G.U.Y. didn’t leave our rotation because they underperformed right? The song is amazing and that’s all that matters

3) I refuse to let charts rule this era and the way we enjoy it. This era is going to be epic and I plan on soaking in and cherishing every second of it. Music not the bling

Honestly we’re at a point where we just need to accept that she isn’t going to be able to chart the same way she used to.  She’s doing this strictly for the hardcore fans, and if we keep focusing on the chart positions we’re gonna lose sight of where she’s taking us with her art.
