My first thought was a studio backlot, but now I'm thinking it is a real location somewhere around LA. The opening shot you can see neighbourhoods and palm trees beyond the street where it is filmed – maybe this was added in post to make it look more realistic, but also possible this is an unedited shot. The painted STOP and red and green painted curbs are typical of the Los Angeles area, maybe Long Beach/Signal Hill? Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
