I’m becoming more and more obsessed. I love the video every time I watch it. I think about it and all the Easter eggs and just how incredible it was filmed. The cameras are crazy :nooo:

it made me wonder if we will get other videos filmed in a similar way where it’s more cinematic.

This song is just too good. I still need to process it all more before I can really speak on it entirely but I’m obsessed. It’s one of my favorite releases this year :tony:

Still obsessed with this song and video! I have to watch the video at least once a day, it’s so good. More than anything it’s made me so hyped for the album. I’m so glad Gaga gave us a good chunk of music to last until then with DWAS, Harlequin, and Disease.

Honestly, I can't believe I thought the song was only medium when I listen to it the first time. It quickly grew on me and now it's literally been the only thing I've been listening to for the past week :bradley: It's her best lead single behind Bad Romance imo.

Omg thankyou.

The video is so broadly unanamously loved here i thought id get dragged for saying it...

I do love the song but I kinda hate the video too. Excessively creepy with that red eye and neverending jerking movements.

Glad everyone is enjoying it tho. I stick to the lyric video if i put it on youtube in the background :ladyhaha:

I've been privately calling it the "Hot Topic version of John Wayne" :brat:

My main issue is the lack of a larger narrative I think. This song absolutely deserved a 9+ minute video/short film even if the music part is identical :grr:

Also the set itself feels claustrophobic yet empty? 50 feet of residential street and a dark basement but there's not a whole lot going on other than her doing WeirdGa things in a dirty dress, underwear, and a plague doctor/gimp fusion outfit (which does look great, I have to admit).

Just not her best video imo, I don't wanna get into a debate about it :ladyhaha:

But the SONG

I'll die for LG7 if it's full of songs of this quality

I love it more now than I did when it was released. It's a slow burner and I keep finding new little sonic elements that keep me interested. I've a feeling it's going to be a grower with the GP as well.

The song is still mid af and too basic at this point of her career to me but the fantastic mv made it a memorable, satisfying event for sure.

I think that’s exactly the intention of it, to portrait her inner demons and struggles in a “calm and peaceful” place. Note that when it starts she’s literally gotten hit and traffic was just flowing as nothing has had happened, for example. I don’t know how it’s your level of your own experiences on that topic, but I feel like that’s all so relatable and it hits so hard because it’s exactly how it feels when you’re battling with yourself, especially during mental hard times. I do understand your point though, I just think that the mv is actually genius artistically.

I adore the song and video, it has everything I love about old school Gaga but its still so fresh and new for her at the same time ^^ shame they're not doing any promo though, they could have really used the haloween week to do something cool but oh well :p maybe a Terrifier 3 xmas preformance to come haha

It's just a solid pop song and I love it. Regardless of how it does on the charts, I'm glad we got what we got :diane:

Great! Love the song. Love the video. So hyped for the rest of the album. I'm so curious what the rest will be like but I can already tell I'm going to love it :fatcat:

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I’m obsessed. It didn’t click with me right away, not that I thought it was bad but I didn’t feel impacted by it like I expected from a Gaga lead but it grew on me a lot, especially after the video, it’s so unapologetically GAGA!!!

it's addictive and disease is the melody in my head
That I can't keep out, got me singing like
aah,ahh,aaaahhhaaahhhh, every day
It's like my Spitify stuck on replay, replay-ay-ay-ay

I shine more in the dark.
