Healthcare should not be a business period... and 3rd party middle men (insurances) increase costs even more cuz its more beaureocracy to pay for and give them profit on top of paying their administrative costs

 

Yes I know my Countries Universal Healthcare is now in shambles but it wasnt always so and now its more of a  funding issue (we spend like half of the US per person, if the US spends what it does now in our system it could have universal coverage with better quality than ours)

I wish Americans knew ACA and Obamacare were the same thing. A lot hate Obamacare just because of the name, not knowing it's ACA. I don't think they'll repeal it, because they talked about repeal and replace in 2016 and here it is, still in place. But still, how shitty.

That's the thing about the extreme right voters. They do not want to have a better life and more financial comfort, they just want minorities to suffer more and be in trouble, and to be able to discriminate them without punishment.

They could have a candidate "A" that will double their salary, reduce their tax, reduce the price of groceries, and another candidate "B" that will do nothing but allow them to discriminate minorities and put them in more financial trouble, they will RUUUUN to vote for canditate "B".

Why is there always extra money for elites and corporations to make and never enough to support basic healthcare for Americans?

Elon Musk can go around trying to buy votes, buy up Twitter, do all kinds of reckless stupid ****.  Jeff Bezos can shut down the Washington Post from making endorsements.  Warren Buffett can continue to watch his stocks soar, while normal Americans have to struggle with medical bills, go into crushing debt without any help? 

I'm not a fan of most of socialist ideas, but I agree that health care desperately needs reform and although the ACA had a messy roll out, it was a step in that direction.  Surely Congress can do better to represent their people, and not just corporate lobbies.
