YES! It was more the distorted sounds than anything. The baseline showed/deepened is so haunting!

Based on what my youngest sister says, the tik tok wednesday of bloody mary going viral etc... more of them seem into dark creepy than Milenials

This makes sense. I'm not sure about "straight" gen Z, but me + all my friends are queer gen Z'ers and we all love it. We grew up on TFM and BTW, so Disease is not just nostalgic, but almost a callback to the very beginnings of our full-sentience and queer-realization. I'm sure broader gen Z finds it extremely nostalgic and on-brand for Gaga and the time of year.

In other words... this is gonna smash so hard 

EDIT: Also, come to think of it, with all the horror/true crime/horror adjacent media out there currently, I wouldn't be surprised if Disease/LG7 has a significant cultural impact in it all.

You have the show about the Menendez brothers, Grotesquerie, AHStories, and much more in the spotlight right now. Peoples' interest in all this will hopefully boost LG7's commercial strength.
