Hello, a passionate gamer since the age of 4 here, so it's not really a weird place to ask!

Baldur's Gate 3 is my favorite game ever made, and I've sunk the most hours in it (156 on PS5, and I've played it on PC before)

I've got similar game time in Diablo IV, purely because I enjoy creating new characters and experimenting with builds

Any open world games are time-consuming sponges (Horizon, Hogwarts, Witcher, Elden Ring if you enjoy soulslikes)

If you enjoy horror games, go for Resident Evil or the new remake of Silent Hill, I just got it 5 days ago, beat it in 16 hours, super amazed

And JRPGS are great if you want a game to last for a long time, because there's tons of additional activities. My favs are Dragon Quest XI, Sea Of Stars, Octopath Traveller, Final Fantasy, and my ABSOLUTE favorite is Megaman Battle Network, which is a gameboy title, it got ported to current generation. There's a pack of 6 games (4 of which have 2 versions, like pokemon), and it's often 50% off on the store!

I have Diablo IV but it seems too complex for me, so I've never beat it.

I love RE games (although I haven't tried Biohazard because I find it too scary, first person horror games scare the **** out of me :messga:), and I also played Silent Hill and it was such a good game.

I'll take a look at Baldur's Gate :partysick:

Actually Diablo is really simple, I'd recommend finding a build from a tierlist on Maxroll (if you find some good aspects, check if they're used in a good build, and keep on going that way).

A for BG3, that one can be intimidating at first. I've tried starting this game 3 times, and bounced away after an hour the first two times, it looks SUPER complex, but it's actually very logical. I think the freedom you're given is a con at first, and then turns into the biggest advantage of the game! We're used to being led by the hand, and here there are so many options to do everything, it can feel overwhelming. But in the end of the day, that's what gave me the best gaming experience in years, maybe even in my life! If you'll try it, give yourself time to learn. Also, don't hesitate to watch some YT videos with beginner tips, it's what made it finally click for me!

I've been getting messages from my deep waters

Elden Ring! (If you’re worried about the difficulty, use sorcery and summons :vegas:)

I did that because it was suggested, I also spent the runes on mind, intelligent and another thing I forgot, but now I can't seem to find a sword or whatever that matches this stats lol

And I find the sorcery to be so slow and kinda boring? I just walk back and cast spells until something dies or kills me :franminervini:

I didn't click with the game, I just stopped playing, regret buying it lol

Hades!

Even when I completed the game, I wanted to go back again and again. If mechanics of trying different combinations of “builds” keep you interested, then it would be great for you.  Plus, the story, art direction, voice acting, and original music are TOP tier

Also, Hades II will be coming out of beta next year

The Fame Monster

I really enjoyed The Last of Us Part 1, The Last of Us Part 2, and the Uncharted games—they're more story-driven and can be finished in under 24 hours, but the storytelling is just fantastic. I also had a great time with Hogwarts Legacy and Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

My boyfriend, on the other hand, spends more time on the PS5 and prefers more challenging and longer games. He’s into games like Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Horizon Forbidden West.

We both love Ghost of Tsushima, Dragon's Dogma 2, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

But honestly, if I had to recommend just one series, it’d be The Last of Us. Sure, they’re shorter and story-driven, but the story is so worth it. I can't wait for the third game!
