Whether he meant it or not is different, I don't think he meant to say it, he probably tried to continue the sentence and failed, but that doesn't matter. A president shouldn't say anything remotely related to that, especially when the race is so tight against a fascist like Trump, and Hillary's "deplorables" comment still sticks around today. Hillary's comments stuck because she was seen as an out of touch elitist and "deplorables" was a more unique phrase. This is just throwing the garbage comment back in their face and puts the original Puerto Rico comment back into the spotlight. It's not going to move the needle. Do you feel him sir? I'm sorry are we still taking Biden's statements seriously? I like the guy, he's been a great president, but he can't string five words together most of the time And unlike Hillary's comment, this isn't out of nowhere. Trump and his people can't talk about this without the original racist comment being brought up at the exact same time so I doubt it'll do anything than make unreachable MAGAs grit their teeth a little harder.
