ARTPOP Gaga is the one that got hit because that was the 'derailment' moment. Joanne Gaga pulls ARTPOP gaga off the car both because they're fighting (crazy vs. relatable) and also as a memory to Gaga's gram ("don't be so maudlin.") TF/TFM are twins and are fighting. One is literally on the back of another, but the other is bound to the ceiling, so they both project attempts, but also futile, attempts at liberation. BTW Gaga bears witness to this to this 'dance' (remember the BTW MV manifesto: "But she wondered / How can I protect something so perfect without evil?"). Chromati-Ga gets vomited out, likely in reference to Gaga's own comments about dancing through pain. I think the claustrophobia bits are nods to Covid/Covid-era. Also could the fact that there was no choreo mean Parris Goebel replaced Richie as main choreographer on tour? Just saying because I know there were some concerns that she would only be involved with the video, and not actually replacing Richie. So I think that’s a good sign. On some parts of the video, I can see Jeepers Creepers and It Follows from it. It's been a while since I've seen her angry look in a video. With that being said, I LOVE the MV. DarkGa is BACK! The monster could actually be the person who ***** Stefani especially since it opens with her seemingly dropped off at a neighborhood. The other one is current stefani running away. Majority of people have already pointed out blond gaga being ARTPOP Gaga but the way she was introduced in the video was out of nowhere kinda like how the Act 2 petition came out of nowhere which could have opened up wounds again. The two Gaga chains could be maybe Fame era or her fibromyalgia pain from that trauma which explains why the monster watches over her. The puked Gaga is chromatica Gaga since it was probably the closest she ever got to confronting that trauma head one and tried to accept it like she did in Chromatica. This video is ****ing amazing.
