I’m gonna split the entire track into stems and master it all so it’s clearer. Might take me about 30 minutes
Grim 2,181
The scene in the institution with the driver watching over the two Gagas struggle is so good Definitely something that would've stuck with me if I saw it as a kid I'm probably wrong 4

I am not a fan of this kind of videos, the meaning is very good and deep but i watched it twice and i don't feel like watching it again. Marry The Night video was not basic and i loved it, 911 was not basic and i loved it, Bad Romance was not basic and i loved it and i can continue. I don't understand how not liking this video means i like basic videos, no connection at all. Some of you should understand that not liking something from her doesn't mean not being a fan or not supporting her 🤷 Edited October 30 by Kaevin95
Allan 3,526
I reeeeeally hope she keeps this artistic/cinematic approach to her videos instead of the traditional pop video formula. Not every mainstream pop artist could pull out this song + video combo in a convincing way like she did, she's settting herself apart from her peers. I'm happy in a very deep level because I feel like she's being honest to her artistry. 25 1

Knife 6,606
This was an amazing MV. I do think the music video elevated the song a little for me. The scene where she was writhing around on the floor as the houses moved in closer to her looked so cool!

Sneaky Oliver 21,240
The video is amazing! Why are you guys saying it has no storyline? My take on the video: she’s her own torturer, she’s her own savior, she’s constantly creating new versions of herself that she will chase around, kidnap and ultimately hit with her car. All the new versions of herself have to deal with the same fate: getting hit by the car even though the blond version tries to save her over and over again In the land of gods and monsters, I was an angel living in the Garden Of Eden 12 2

RAYA.core 715
4 minutes ago, Sunday said: I used ChatGPT to interpret some parts of the music video and tbh it kinda ate Made me appreciate the video more than I already do Lady Gaga's "Disease" music video sounds visually intense and symbolically rich, particularly with its broad daylight horror theme, mirroring some psychological thriller and horror film techniques. The elements you described, such as the dual versions of herself and the collapsing houses that seem to trap her, create a layered story with several possible symbolic meanings: Duality and Inner Conflict: Lady Gaga’s chase scene, where she runs from a darker version of herself, could symbolize an internal struggle or facing one's own “shadow” side—those parts of the self that might represent fear, suppressed emotions, or unresolved issues. This echoes horror film themes where characters confront darker reflections of themselves, suggesting themes of self-acceptance, fear of inner flaws, or a struggle to outrun internal demons. Caving Houses as Symbols of Pressure and Entrapment: The image of two houses caving in toward her, trapping her, might represent feeling "sandwiched" by societal pressures, expectations, or personal anxieties. Houses in horror films often represent the mind or psyche, so collapsing homes could signify a breakdown of mental stability or feeling crushed by one's environment or expectations. This imagery creates a visual metaphor for entrapment, where seemingly safe spaces (like homes) turn hostile—a familiar horror trope that makes everyday settings feel terrifying. Broad Daylight Horror: Placing the horror in daylight removes the "cover" that darkness often provides, making her struggle more visible, raw, and inescapable. This could imply that her fears or the “disease” within is not something she can hide from, even in seemingly "safe" environments. Overall, the video seems to use horror elements and surreal imagery to symbolize internal struggles, societal pressures, and the unavoidable nature of personal demons—core ideas that resonate with horror's ability to externalize psychological battles. Lady Gaga’s visual storytelling continues to dive into complex themes, with "Disease" appearing to blur the lines between horror and self-reflection. Flawless 2,211
Loved the video so much Subtly powerful, a horror story in a 'peaceful' scenario. Her performance is unmatched. The masked Gaga gave me chills. So well constructed, it almost made me fear her. the scars on my mind are on replay.
