chewing on pearls 355 Posted October 29 Share Posted October 29 she's a completely different artist (and person) than she was a decade ago when the ARTPOP promises were falling through, so I think it's unfair to bring that time period up every time we don't get what we expect, especially considering what gaga was going through personally at that time. I trust that monsters are all different fans (and people) than they were then too... so I understand the 2013/14 trauma response lol, but try to trust the process. it's bizarre to me that even fans who've been with gaga for 15 years (and have witnessed the ways the pressure and expectations have hurt her/weighed her down/negatively impacted her mental health in the past) continue to pile on about chart performance and marketing strategy and rollout. let her live! (sorry, have been *generally* offline for a few days and came back to so much negativity here and on X that made me very sad and frustrated tbh.
