I still think of it as quite Gaga. Maybe the accessibility/cohesion is what makes it seem less so (to me anyway). The rest of them all are much more unpredictable from track to track, which I’ve always loved.

I love Chromatica but it’s too polished compared to the rest of Gaga’s albums. The rest are all over the place, this is just a collection of well produced electronic dance songs.

Edit: Chromatica, of all the albums, seems most like it could be an album by someone else.

I see your point. But I would say The Fame is just as polished as Chromatica. Just in different production choices and tones.

I agree about The Fame. I listen to that one far less than her other albums besides the singles, but you’re right 100% 

Edit: That one would feel less “her” too if it wasn’t her first one.
