1. Born This Way- Very different/ diverse & unique sound, wild/ interesting lyrics, pushes boundaries lyrically, thematically and musically, uses different tones and singing styles. Features Dark Pop as well (Bloody Mary)

2. ARTPOP- Attention grabbing instrumentals/ beats, diverse sounds from trap to rn b to EDM to disco, creative and artistic lyrics (Dope, Applause), also uses different tones and singing styles.

3. The Fame Monster- Features signature Gaga choruses, discusses different topics and has a cohesiveness to it

4. The Fame- Same as TFM with the signature Gaga choruses and cohesiveness but lacks the craziness, wildness of BTW, AP etc.

5. Chromatica- Has some wonderful songs and creative lyrics. Lacks the uniqueness though

6. Joanne- Stripped down sound/ theme,  different sound for her also kinda diverse but lacks the outrageousness of most of her previous albums.

Well, I would say Chromatica is the least Gaga album to me.

Even though of curse is Gaga and who am I to decide if her own music is Gaga enough, I do feel it make me connect less to her than her other albums.

Joanne, even though is not very pop in your face, it feels very Gaga to me.

So I would say:

1) Born this way;

2) The fame monster;

3) ARTPOP;

4) The fame;

5) Joanne;

6) Chromatica.

I think Joanne and her Jazz albums are the most her. The idea of Gaga was a persona she created because of her trauma, and to make it in the industry. The real Gaga (In My Opinion) is nothing like her Monster era or Born This Way era

I do agree, but Joanne feels more Stefani than Gaga if that makes sense. Joanne is Lady whereas BTW is Gaga for example

We really cannot know this, as Gaga has been quite candid about Interscope's artistic interference until 2014, from which point she seems to have had free rein to a certain extent.

Honestly, I'd put Harlequin at the top, as absurd as that seems. She is not getting enough credit for arranging the songs the way she did. It feels like an album she could have made at any point in her career, aside from whatever emotional upheaval she was in at the time, which to me is a good answer to the question which album is "most Gaga".

I don't agree with people saying BTW. Gaga seemed to be under a lot of label pressure, RedOne described the sessions as frustrating because of it, and Gaga was starting to ramp up her addiction to weed during that time as well. I think that album reflects where she was at personally very well, like Joanne and Chromatica, but I don't think she thinks of it as her best musical effort. Her statements at SXSW reflect that. ARTPOP ofc seems the least Gaga in that context, since she had to change her whole songwriting process to cope emotionally.

The rest of the albums, I don't even know.

Which is kinda funny because TF was considered as crazy wild and weird at the time, but now we consider it as just normal, she really changed the music industry with TF

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

1. All of them except Chromatica

2.Chromatica

I love Chromatica but it’s too polished compared to the rest of Gaga’s albums. The rest are all over the place, this is just a collection of well produced electronic dance songs.

Edit: Chromatica, of all the albums, seems most like it could be an album by someone else.

I disagree. I think they are all Gaga. Chromatica felt like the most accessible one.
