If she's at all aware, and she must be, of the social climate around Dr. (P)Luke then I can believe how she'd be ashamed of having to work with him. Is she really forced to? Is it a contractual thing? I'm not too familiar with how these things work.

Didn't she sign/renew with him after the allegations? Or was that someone else? I guess that's no sign she wasn't coerced or pressured into signing with him even if that's the case.

Idk, when I met her she had a really good energy about her. I don't care for her music but I'd love to stan her so hopefully she's able to overcome whatever she's talking about

I really wish her the best. Her signing with Dr Luke after the Kesha situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth, however she may or may not be forced to do it and we don’t know what happens behind the scenes. Hope everything goes well for her

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure she was originally signed to a 7 album contract. An absolutely terrible deal in retrospect since there's obvs a reason all her production is Dr. Luke.

Yes; in one early interview, she said something along the lines of that she would never work with an abuser, implying she didn't believe Kesha

In recent years, she's acted like it was transphobia & a double standard because she's the only one who gets hate for working with him (which 143 proves is not true)

She signed to Luke's Amigo Record under Republic Records in 2021. It is more likely that Republic doesn't let her drop new music.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding she was rightfully criticized for her "she would never work with someone she believed was an abuser" remark and apologized for it? As well as gone on to praise Kesha?

 

On topic: I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot we don't know going on behind the scenes. Especially with all of the cryptic posts that she later retracts and plays it off. I believe Doja did the same thing when she called him out for taking credit for things she created herself?

This is what Keshas friend said about the Kim Situation - Kesha herself also liked many tweets about not sending Kim any hate. I wonder, since they must run in the same circles, if there are maybe some things she knows that others don't. At least, that's what those tweets from Keshas friend allude. and yeah, Dojas Producers from Planet Her said they were confused that he was credited for multiple Songs, when he did not work on them.

Bonnie McKee (signed to Luke from 2008 - 2014) talked about how Luke would kind of promise you amazing things and have you sign terrible deals, when you're not aware of how the industry works. 

Katy Perry, for example though, was never signed to Luke or under any contractual obligation after she switched Songwriting Publishing Companies in like 2010 or 2012. That means his involvement in 143 was all her decision.
