Actually, the Ramsay scale of sedation goes from 1 to 6, 6 being completely unresponsive to external stimuli.

I’ve personally never connected with any of her lead singles apart from BR so this isn’t new to me. She’s still the greatest artist in my eyes (ears?).

After listening to the song many many times.. I can say.. it’s grown on me BUT I do find it repetitive like SL and the lyrics are weak.

It's solid/neutral. It's not bad like Stupid Love or unlistenable like Perfect Illusion. But it does seem like people told her "hey gen z loves BTW album tracks, make another one". It's a bit of a rehash but with modern production. You can even sing Judas in the pre chorus.  Considering the album is February, and this was released on Halloween, I'd like to hope it was just a buzz lead single to capitalize on Halloween and that the other songs will be much stronger.

The song has some very interesting elements in it. I like that it feels a bit like a combination of couple different songs in a way. The chorus is quite good the ‚lay you down like 1,2,3’ is very catchy.

From negatives , I hate the fried synch loop in the foreground starting from like 5th second of the song. It gives me a headache, and it comes from someone who loves electropunk music and metal. Also lyrically the song feels a bit random and lacks some clear hooks and clever catchphrases.

i appreciate her courage for going in a new direction, but with this one it is just not her time I think, It happens. Oh boy I voiced my honest opinion at the end I’m ready to be fried now lol

I am wondering if it fits the season like Halloween/October. Has it been confirmed that its the first single from the album? Possibly not but maybe just to see how the audience reacts to that type of direction. It's all very intriguing!
