Okay, so now I’ve listened to it loud (multiple times) in the car it has actually really grown on me. The amount of influences I didn’t hear on the first listen has me gobsmacked. I can hear some Judas, Bad Romance, Haus Labs Babylon, Government Hooker, Bloody Mary and a hint of Replay

i’ve learned over the years with Gaga releases that i typically don’t fall in love with the music until i sit with it for a few listens. 
 

This is the first lead single since “applause” that i enjoyed right off the bat, and love even more as i keep listen. This song live, will be a moment for sure. Always love the dark vibes from Gaga. My only criticism is that i would have loved to see the video alongside my first listen, but the song is electrifying!

Before I listened, somebody said it sounded like Joanne and I was terrified. But then I listened and this is ARTPOP and TFM, but BIGGER SOUNDING. Like this is a certified pop smash. A banger to the highest degree.

no shade but the past two album cycles the lead has been one of the weakest tracks on the album a la perfect illusion & stupid love

took a bit to get its claws into me, but ended up loving the "ahhh ah!" cadence and the lay you down like 123 bit a lot. has this weird grindcore reminiscent/melodic moshing edge

It became a huge grower for me. I liked it on first listen, but I've grown to love it the more I listen to it

I desperately need the music video though  I want to see what kind of visual and choreo she has for this song because, visually speaking, this era is already one of my favorites!
