Alxjcgn 131
I was thinking about the opening interlude at the CBT and some of the other looks, especially for her encore... and feel like there is maybe a connection of some kind or something. I don't think she maybe had written the songs yet (or maybe she did), but I think she maybe had an idea of what her next era would look like and sprinkled that throughout the Chromatica Tour. Either way, I'm so f**king pumped for Disease and I'm excited to see what the next era brings!! Would love to hear others' thoughts on this idea! 1
Sunday 2,119
I remember most people expected that the Chromatica Ball is aesthetically bright and colorful given how the era rolled out. She of course then broke those expectations and gave us the dark, brutalist motif that we got. I guess it's kind of a soft transition into LG7?

I also think her look at the premiere for the Tour movie looks similar to the look from the snippet so far (at least the hair), so maybe hinting at LG7 there as well? 2School4Cool 5,990
Honestly I think it’s probably the opposite, I think she used the chromatica ball for inspiration for the beginning of this era. Just guessing based on her saying that it was her fiancé that inspired her to make another pop album because he saw how happy she was during the chromatica ball. I think that conversation likely happened after tour had already ended See The Best In Everyone

Like she said, you see the brightest colors when she’s most depressed because she’s trying to pull herself out of what she’s feeling. During the making of chromatica she needed the bright colors. By time the tour rolled around she had done a lot of healing and was in a better place See The Best In Everyone 1

Spoiler I can't help but feel like Chromatica both album and tour is comparable to the Splitting Light phenomena, I can't exactly articulate why. idk i might be reaching on this one, the Disease wait got me yapping 1
