My point was that whoever tweeted the screenshot deliberately left out the context of the quote - which is an annoying thing to do.

Wasn't Mr. S the one who said he'd stop giving out info about Gaga because of how little monsters kept harassing and attacking him in the past? I doubt he'd waste his time commenting on something even remotely related to Disease if he wasn't making a definitive statement about something. Like, he rarely speaks and the one time he does, he's gonna use it to throw shade at GH and Scheibe? I don't think so.

To me, his statement "This gives me Government Hooker and Scheibe vibes" is referencing Disease. "This" being Disease. He's saying that it's not some cheap electronic dance song from a decade ago like the user he quoted said; he's saying that it's more like GH and Scheibe. And as @OMonster said, it wouldn't really make sense for him to shade those two songs anyway because they're almost universally loved by the fan base.

Some sense! I'm so confused by the weird response to what was said. I can't understand how it can be credibly interpreted as anything but a comment about what "Disease" sounds like. The alternative of Mr. S breaking his silence to shade GH and Scheibe is kind of ridiculous when you actually think about it.

I mean I don't know his tastes, so maybe he actually thinks GH and Scheibe are sh*t songs, but I doubt it

Given the snippets we've gotten, it sounds like LG7 is sonically close to BTW (the album). So him saying Disease sounds like GH and Scheibe makes sense.

Mr.S popping few days before a release and giving us tea is not that surprising that's exactly what he has done before both DWAS and Harlequin.

He literally gave us the artistic direction of Harlequin being a swing jazzy album while you were all saying he was wrong because The Joker was rock cover. Well we know who ended up being right
