I knew with visuals like the Coachella tentacle intro, John Wayne, Chromatica Ball, 911, that she'd eventually return to the hyper "weirder" route again she was ahead of her time indeed, unlike many of peers she wasn’t afraid to make pop music controversial and meaningful, so she had to pay the price for her boldness! and she was trying desperately to clean her image from 2016 to 2018 it feels that she kinda lost herself during that time… I don’t know, even Chromatica (while I love the album) to an extent felt more like a cosplay of who people believed Gaga was in her prime years. I’m just glad she’s feeling proud of her work again and I can’t wait for Friday. 13 15

dimitristhe 1,544
I think it is a smart move for Gaga to be inspired by the dark themes of Born This Way. That album proved to be timeless and is still producing hits. Bloody Mary's huge success 12 years after its release is clearly showing that people are still interested in a more rebellious, weird, dark and experimental sound from Gaga. Government Hooker, Scheiße, Americano and Heavy Metal Lover are receiving more daily streams than half of the albums singles. Also, Judas has became such a hit now, even though it was poorly received in 2011. I personally believe that Gaga studied Judas, Scheiße (a fan favourite), Government Hooker, Heavy Metal Lover (also a fan favourite) and Bloody Mary for LG7. The snippets we got seem dark and quite interesting. Food for thought. The daily streams of some BTW tracks at 22/10/2014 Judas 1.015.000 (Very soon is going to surpass Born This Way and become the most streamed BTW song and eventually Paparazzi and will become the 10th most streamed Gaga song on Spotify.) Bloody Mary 535.000 Americano 85.000 (The 41st most streamed Gaga song, is going to surpass Replay very soon. ) Heavy Metal Lover 122.000 (Is going to surpass Free Woman, a non-single that was released in the streaming era) Scheiße 35.000 Government Hooker 166.000 (is heading to surpass G.U.Y. in total streams. A non-single is going to surpass a single with a music video. That's crazy!) When we're not together tell me everything's gonna be alright 8 1 1
