I did some research on Tanu Muino, the director in charge of the Disease MV and I found a bunch of common subjects and themes in her previous work with artists like Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, Doja Cat and many more, which are very indicative of her directing style. I wanted to share a couple of things we could expect from the music video (which I'm very excited about!)

1. Aerial shots: most of her videos include a filming technique called "birds eye's view" and high angle shots (think of it as something recorded from the ceiling, looking down). Some of her biggest examples are "Illusion" (Dua Lipa) and "As it Was" (Harry Styles). This one is basically confirmed already, given that the teaser picture for Disease was shot in the same angle

2. Interesting color palettes: Tanu has a clear speciality in creating focal points through color contrast. Some of her most visually stunning videos include "2AM" (Foals), "Bongos" (Cardi B) and "Wild Side" (Normani)

3. Urban setting: most of her previous works were set in cities and streets, with lots of attention directed to buildings, cars, pavements and people interacting in the background. This is clear in "Standing Next to you" (Jung Kook), "Attention" (Doja Cat) and the recently released "Mantra" (Jennie).

4. And lastly, almost every single one of her videos include wide shots of the sky. Just something I noticed that seems to be a running theme

2 am is super

If we consider the single cover is a still / inspired from the music video, then I think we can expect many bird's eye view shots. Colour contrast seems to be unique to each artist. Lady Gaga's vision is quite similar to Doja Cat for this era so I think it can be more similar to Attention than the other above music videos.

I can picture a You & I kind of music video with a dark color palette, some great choreo but also some heavy story elements and some sort of dark fantasy / horror theme. Then again, we’ve barely seen anything :laughga:

I am so much more excited for the choreo than the video and song. It's HIGH TIME Gaga got rid of the random squirrel movements.

I said it three times but if this momma references Tetsuo The Iron Man I’ll LIVE ! The plot line involves a hit and run and a mechanical infection - and that GaGa has been wearing Selvas collection which is basically car parts covering peoples bodies — GIRL

I honestly think the disease she is talking about is the parasocial relationship fans create with celebrities. The fans are the disease.
