idk you can always be fired if theres enough evidence especially for misconduct reasons

even in the corporate world nobody is completely protected by a contract. i don't know, but i imagine he essentially breached his contract terms as there was almost certainly misconduct terms on his contract

keep in mind gaga fired boomkack for far less and at the height of her fame and during an album cycle so likeee

Yeah thats true. But remember that we are talking about gagas media image. Management can operate at much higher security levels of her media image.

It is by project. As in "choreograph mv for Stupid Love" then "choreograph mv for ROM" then "choreograph TCB". It's every individual thing.

He is abusive and toxic on work place, many of Gaga's long time regulars dancers quitting because of him and that reason. He also allegedly sexual assaulted some people and this news spreads quickly within the industry.

To be completely honest, I'm not ready to write off Richie yet. As much as we like to talk about these things, the reality is that we know nothing that goes on behind the scenes. For all we know, Parris could've taken the lead for Disease's choreo, but Richie could still be involved with other LG7-related things.

I'm not going to feel totally confident that he's gone until we're deep in LG7 (like the tour or something) and he's still not there.

No, I don't think so. 

We've seen all the contracts that leaked, including Richy's and while they are a few years old, yes, I still think they are relevant info. They are typical of industry standards.,

And all of those contracts were at-will, meaning the person could be let go for any reason. In Richy's case specifically, he could be fired at any time and the only thing Gaga was obligated to do was pay his wage up to date, and fly him home if they were out of the US.

I have no reason to believe she would sign a contract with anyone that didn't have those terms. Most contracts have a penalty if you terminate early, that's it. So she could have/maybe did(?) just fire him and pay him off at any time.

I think she was working behind the scenes to figure out what was going on and then made her decision. She's known and worked with Richy a long time, it was probably shocking (and hurtful) to her to discover he actually sucked, I'm sure she just wanted to make sure she was doing the right thing before firing him.

This. I think Gaga is wise to avoid to a courtcase, it has been very triggering in the past. It's just not a good way to part with a(n old) friend.

Also he wasn't just a choreographer, he was a creative director, so he was involved in more than just the dance aspect of her performance.

I doubt that she was legally required to use his services... at worst he could be paid without contributing any work. I doubt Gaga's legal team would draft a contract that legally binds Gaga to only working with one person, makes no sense.

guys does anyone remember the name of the kid that came out and exposed richy for abusing him throught the years? not the haus dancer... it was someone else. richy was his mentor. and theres no info on google anymore, everything has been scrapped.

it's actually rly concering becuz that kid was legit, he exposed him through his instagram and he had photos with richy etc and now you cannot find any info on it anywhere. i completely forgot his name because this was months ago if not a year. but i'm sure someone must remember it because it was also posted here if im not mistaken
