With the vocals, screams and the speed of the song? It's already among my favorite songs of her of all time I really didn't expect it to be THIS FUCKING GOOD! It's like she answered all our prayers... I love the back vocals that u also hear in the beginning where she goes "aahh aahh aaaa ahhh ahhh aaaaaaah aahh" it's ethereal.. and there are so many moans in the back Oh and this part: "Cure your diseeeeeaaase" at about 3:05 where she screams it in the last chorus ? The postives: The dark pop we've been wanting for ages, her finally collaborating with one of my favorites Cirkut and the fact that she really goes her own way (and watch the rest follow in 1 year) That being said, I will say this: the production does a lot of the heavy lifting for me in this song. When she started teasing the lyrics I already wasn't feeling them and in the song they also don't work for me. Lastly her voice sounds quite muddy. I know it's intentional, but I keep wanting to turn up the volume to hear her better. Overall, it's a great direction, but I'm mostly excited for the more experimental songs in the same vein. I think it would be a slay tbh and Halloween will be on Thursday, makes sense for a new tracking week imo, she can drop physical and merch as well, and probably post a cute tiktok dance that can make it go viral.
