It's not that by itself, it's after she ask for (and received) like 20 free meet&greet tickets from Elvira, it's just nice to take a pic w her after Elvira took pics with all her family/friends for free (loosing money at her show basically)

It's not that big of a deal its just probably expected that she would return that favor a little by taking the picture with her

it’s isn’t about that. It’s the fact that she had the audacity to decline a simple picture after asking for 21 FREE TICKETS to an event that she can easily afford. It’s a huge slap in the face to Alvira. Even just asking for 20+ free tickets is a bit much

It's a both/and thing though. Like Ariana "just said no", Elvira was asked a question and just answered honestly. She didn't call Ariana rude, she didn't say she was "offended" like Ariana is now spinning it, she just described what happened and laughingly called it her worst celebrity encounter because it was, and someone filmed it on their phone at a small ass event.

I mean, I myself cackled at Ariana's response. As another user said, I don't mind my favs to be rude and bitchy sometimes, god knows I am. There's no need to actively defend her and criticize Elvira

The bombing thing is serious but also explains nothing about how she acted. It's plausible she had a panic attack and was out of sorts but she didn't communicate anything related to that to Elvira. She just stood there watching her take pictures with all her free ticket enjoying friends and family, declining to take a picture, and then leaving the building. Regardless of the circumstances, this is still Elvira's worst encounter with a celebrity, and that's totally fine to say lol.

okay but this was nearly 10 years ago, what is the use in rehashing something like this? just to drag her?

She was asked about best/worst celebrity encounters. She didn't bring it up for no reason.
